“Hear the Silent Flowers Sing” is a flower vase crafted from fir wood, featuring delicate dancing lily orchids made of cold porcelain and a glass tube insert that enables versatile arrangements of fresh, dried, or porcelain flowers. Inspired by Japanese Ikebana and Wassily Kandinsky’s concept of visual music, the vase’s unique quarter-rest shape facilitates the translation of auditory experiences into visual music. This design encourages deaf individuals to engage deeply with music through sight and physical sensation, thereby promoting social inclusivity and the value of human-centred design. The vase was launched in February 2025 in Asia and March 2025 in Europe.
